Bowdoinham-Roger P. Robert Sr., 80, of Bay Rd. passed away at his residence on Friday, July 7, 2006.

He was born in Lewiston on December 12, 1925 the son of Henry and Beatrice (Lessard) Robert.

Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII.

He was a member of the Richmond American Legion Post #132. Roger enjoyed Dancing, being in the woods, political banter and particularly time spent with his family.

Roger was predeceased by his wives Hope Robert, Sonja Robert, Joan Robert, his parents, son Daniel Robert, sister Theresa Robert, brothers Ivan and Reginald Robert. He is survived by his companion Pearl Moody, daughter Cathy Rice, son’s Roger Robert and wife Kim, David Robert, Gil Robert, Shawn Robert, Paul Robert and wife Christie, step children Erlene Gagnon, Brenda, Robin and Stuart Proulx, brother’s Michael, Camille, Claude and Richard Robert, sister’s Janine Rancourt, Noella Robert, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 11th from 2 to 9pm at Roger’s home 561 Bay Rd. Bowdoinham. A horse drawn procession will depart from Roger’s home at 11am on Wednesday, July 12th. Burial and graveside services will take place at Bayview Cemetery, Bowdoinham.
