Craig Alan Ladner

Damariscotta, ME- Craig Alan Ladner, 71, of Jefferson, died on Sunday, January 28, 2007 unexpectedly at Miles Memorial Hospital.

Craig was born in Cambridge, MA, on January 30th, 1935, the son of Ralph Martin Ladner and Corrienne (Stafford) Ladner. He graduated in 1952 from Newton High School, and attended Northeastern University.

Craig was a co-owner of the Sunoco in Newtonville, MA, SAD 17 Transportation Director, in South Paris, ME, and worked for W.C. Cressey and Sons, of Kennebunk, ME. Craig was an active member of the Jefferson Grange and was a member of the Masons Norumbega Lodge in MA. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, helping his sons with their many projects, gardening with his wife, and participating in the Boy Scouts organization.

Craig was predeceased by his father and mother.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joan (Barter) Ladner, sons; Wayne Ladner of Richmond, Keith Ladner and his wife Debra of Harrison, Dale Ladner and his wife Kathleen of Casco, five granddaughters; Becki, Sarah, Michelle, Brittany, Kelcey, brother Francis Ladner and his wife Elizabeth of Orleans, MA, several nieces, nephews, cousins and daughter-in-law Yvonne Brunelle of Farmingdale.

There will be a memorial service for Craig at 1 pm on Saturday, February 10th, at Kincer Funeral Home.
