Kenneth Young Sr.

Richmond-Kenneth Young Sr., 69, of the Langdon Rd. died at his home on Friday, June 15, 2007.

He was born on January 9, 1938 the son of Vernon and Dorothy (Skelton) Young.

Ken was a hardworking man from childhood, right until two weeks before his death. He was employed at Etonic for 26 years while building his own business “Young’s Solid Waste”. Although limited for the past year, he did what he could and he could still “direct”.

He loved to travel and took great pride in caring for his home and family.

He loved his wife of 47 years, Martha E. (Temple) Young . Along with his wife he is survived by his son’s Ken Young Jr., Jeffrey W. Young and his daughters Kammie L. Johnson and Holly L. Luber. He dearly loved his 9 grandchildren and tried to stay close to them, creating great memories of “Grampy” and “Bubba”. He is also survived by his siblings Shirley Yeaton, Larry Young, Jack Young, Laverne Smith, Gary Young, many nieces and nephews, he always enjoyed their visits.

Ken was predeceased by his sister Dorothy “Toots” Watson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23rd at 4pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Water St. in Brunswick.
