Mildred E. Pinkham

Dresden-Mildred E. Pinkham, 99, of the River Rd. passed away on Monday, November 26, 2007 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

She was born in West Boothbay on August 29, 1908 the daughter of William and Lillian (Swett) Hodgdon.

Mildred worked for Etonic Shoe of Richmond for many years. She was a member of the Dresden Richmond United Methodist Church, the Rebekah’s of Richmond, the Richmond American Legion Auxiliary and Dresden Historical Society. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, crafts and reading.

Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward C. Pinkham, sons Edward Pinkham Jr., Clayton Pinkham, sisters Florence Davis, Theresa Emerald, Julia Gray, and grandson Terry Pinkham. She is survived by her daughter Verona Lewis and husband Melvin of Dresden, 4 grandchildren Deborah McAllister and husband Jeff of West Bath, Peter Lewis and wife Sue of Dresden, Ernest Pinkham of Litchfield, Stephen Pinkham of South Carolina, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.
