Lewiston-Penny Lee Leask, 47, of Wiscasset died unexpectedly on September 24, 2009 at CMMC in Lewiston.
Penny was born July 20, 1962 in Gardiner, the daughter of Glendon and Altena Leask of Dresden.
She was a talented craft person. She enjoyed and wrote poetry. She loved spending time at the ocean. She also loved animals, especially her dog Chucky.
She was employed by Stinson Canning and Tony's Pizza. She lived in Michigan for several years and owned a consignment shop; Pennys from Heaven.
She was predeceased by her parents Glendon and Altena Leask, a daughter Morgan Lee Leask and a sister Emily Pinkham.
She is survived by her daughter Renee Leask of Dresden, her brothers Merle Leask his wife Marcia of Dresden, Paul Leask and his wife Alice of Whitefield, Warren Leask and his wife Sallie of Wiscasset, a sister Mary Lou Sanders, her grandchildren James and Lillian Murphy-Peaslee of Woolwich, and her partner of 9 years Glenn Lewis of Wiscasset.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services. A scattering of her ashes at Ocean Point will be done at a date and time determined by her family. Call Merle Leask for further information.
