Jacqueline Ryan

Richmond-Jacqueline T. Ryan, 67, died Monday, February 07, 2011 at Mid Coast Hospital, Brunswick following an extended illness.

She was born on November 11, 1943 the daughter of Myrela and Raymond Tremblay. She graduated from St. Dominic’s High School in Lewiston. She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Maine at Orono.

On October 2, 1965 she married Thomas W. Ryan in Orono, Maine. They eventually moved to Bath to raise their family. Jacqueline taught French at Orono High School, Rockland Jr. High, Brunswick High School and was head of foreign language department at Morse High School before retiring.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 45 years Thomas and their five children Erin Wilson and her husband Mark, Greg Ryan and his wife Leann, Stephanie Vidaurri and her husband Greg, Patrick Ryan and his wife Jennifer, Peter Ryan and his wife Krissy, eleven grandchildren, sister Francine Mongue and her husband Frank, brother Marc Tremblay and her father. She was predeceased by her sister Monique and mother Myrela.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, February 10th from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Kincer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 11th at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Kimball Street in Richmond. A gathering will follow in the church hall. Burial will take place in the spring.
