Linda A. Pulk

AUBURN — Linda A. Pulk, 69, formerly of 15 Stone Lane in Litchfield, died peacefully on March 12, at Auburn Hospice House, with her loving husband, Ken by her side.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, Dec. 9, 1941, a daughter of Carroll B. and Florence (Pelley) Huston. She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Lisbon High School. She was a homemaker, mother, Nana, wedding planner, DJ, cake decorator and ran her own day care for many years. She enjoyed many hobbies: quilting, sewing, knitting, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and camping. She was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She married Kenneth Pulk on April 14, 1974. Together they raised her three children.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pulk of Litchfield; children, John Pulk of Litchfield, Kevin Pulk and wife, Stella, of Litchfield and Jennifer Stone of Auburn; grandchildren, Kristopher, Morgan, Logan and McKalla Pulk and Matthew, Danielle, Donna and Megan Stone; great-grandchild, Kassidy Pulk; sisters, Gwen Stebbins and husband, Arthur and Donna Pelkey and husband, Bob, all of Lisbon Falls; brothers, Donald Huston and wife, Eleanor, of Lisbon Falls, George Huston and wife, Jeannie, of Lisbon Falls, John Huston and wife, Debbie, of Bowdoinham and Norm Lamphere and wife, Joyce, of Lisbon Falls; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by four brothers; and two sisters.

The family of Linda Pulk would like to extend special thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors at Parkview Adventist Medical Center, Unit 100 and at Auburn Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at Brunswick Seventh-day Adventist Church, 333 Main St., Brunswick, ME 04011 on Wednesday, March 16, at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Parkview AMC/Community Relations, 329 Main St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
