Robert F. Chapman

West Gardiner-ROBERT F. CHAPMAN, 70, of the Collins Mills Rd. died Peacefully at his home after a long battle with cancer with his loving wife, niece Mary, nephew Dan and his sister Martha by his side.

He was born in Dresden on August 24, 1943 the son of Clifton and Pearl Chapman.

HE WAS AN AVID HUNTER AND FISHERMAN, HE ALSO ENJOYED HORSEBACK RIDING, CAMPING, PLAYING HIS GUITAR AND cook outs with FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE ALSO LOVED HIS BELOVED DOGS, MISSY AND PRINCESS. Bob had a LIFE LONG PROFESSION as A WORM DIGGER AND also A SIDE PROFESSION as A LANDLORD. HE ALSO ENJOYED RACING STOCK CARS AND MINI CUPS AT RICHMOND, WISCASSETT AND OTHER NEARBY TRACKS.

HE'S SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING WIFE CAROLYN CHAPMAN OF WEST GARDINER, HIS SISTERS: LEE KNOWLTON OF WELLS, JOYCE BENNET OF FLORIDA, MARTHA AMES OF WISCASSETT AND WANETA GAGNE AND HER HUSBAND RAY OF BATH, THREE STEP-DAUGHTERS, TWO STEP SONS AND ONE BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILD PLUS SEVERAL NIECES, AND NEPHEWS AND GREAT NIECES AND GREAT NEPHEWS. Bob was predeceased by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 8th at 11a.m. at Bob and Carolyn’s home 273 Collins Mills Rd. West Gardiner.
