Clinton Hilliker

Clinton Roscoe Hilliker was born on April 16, 1917 in Lynn Massachusetts, the son of Roscoe William and Alice Hampson Hilliker. He graduated from English High School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

On September 23, 1944, he married Lois Mary Cook in Rochester, New York.

He graduated from MIT as a Metallurgical Engineer and worked for Bethlehem Steel, Sperry Products and Automation Industries before starting his own company in California. On retirement, he and his wife moved to Day’s Ferry, Maine in 1986.

He was a volunteer at the Maine Maritime Museum, a member of the Brunswick Golf Club, and a trustee of the Day’s Ferry Congregational Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Deborah LaChapelle of Georgetown, Maine, a son Jeffrey Hilliker of San Pedro, California, a son and daughter in law, David and Wendy Hilliker of Manhattan Beach, California and a grand son, Aaron LaChapelle of Long Beach, California.

Clinton Hilliker died on March 5, 2016 at the age of 98. Funeral services will be held at a later date in the Congregational Church, Old Stage Road, in Day’s Ferry. Burial will be in Lynn, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Day’s Ferry Congregational Church.
