Jackie was born was born in Newburyport, MA on January 14, 1962, the daughter of John Edward and Betty Mary White.

As a child, Jackie developed a love for horses.  She was often seen tending to or riding her horse King on her grandfather's (Bumpa) farm in Byfield Mass.  She moved to Litchfield Maine in 1974, where she laid her roots.  Becoming a part of Oak Hill High Schools very first Freshman class, Jackie graduated in 1980.  In 1981 and 1982 Jackie had her 2 sons who she treasured, and established a family of her very own.

Jackie spent the majority of her adult life working as an Ed Tech in RSU 4 and MSAD 11 Schools, where she made life long meaningful connections with special needs and behavior students.  It was her calling.  Where others saw labels, she saw kids who needed an advocate or a person to confide in.

Jackie was an avid advocate for Special Olympics and assisting students with special needs. She was her happiest when helping others.  She loved Bingo, paint-nights, impromptu shopping trips. Jackie was a skilled crafter, often crocheting blankets for her family and hats for local schools.  When she wasn't keeping herself busy with work and family she spent her free time taking long walks with her dog Bella. Or movie date nights with her great nephew John, who lovingly gave her the name "Ya-Ya".

Ya-Ya's favorite time of the year was Christmas.  She loved making holiday goodies for friends and family, and listening to Christmas music.  She loved trips to Miscou Island and the beach, but loathed the sand. She loved to make her family laugh, and most importantly spending time with them.

Jackie was predeceased by her paternal grandparents William Pearson (Bumpa) and Edith of Byfield, her Maternal grandparents, Joey Beaudin and Annie of Miscou Island, her father John White, and her great niece Shannon Lanteigne.
