Togus- Dean Alan Young passed on 10/23/2023, after a long illness. Born 9/21/1962 in Gardiner, Maine to Vernon and Delores Young. He married Margaret on 12/23/1990. Dean was a Marine Blood worm Digger, loved the outdoors; family and spending time with them.

Dean leaves behind his wife Margaret; stepdaughters Lisa Rolfe & husband Dan and Tory Tracy; stepson Raymond Tracy & wife Nancy; parents Jack & Delores Young; sisters Susan Bowie & husband Darrell and Rhonda James & husband David; brother Cary Young & partner Lynne McKeen; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will not be a service per Dean’s request. There will be a celebration of life, details will be on Facebook once confirmed. In lieu of flowers, Dean wanted donations for terminally ill patients to VA Maine Healthcare System Togus Springs (135), 1VA Center Augusta, ME 04330. Checks can be written to the VAVS or we will accept donations at celebration of Life to take over.
