Richmond-Richard "Flash" Gordon-79, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2026 at Maine General Hospital, Augusta.
He was born on April 2, 1947 in Indiana the son of Paul and Mildred Gordon.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He also worked as a Rigger at BIW for 39 years.
Richard enjoyed drinking Mountain Dew, riding his motorcycle, driving his convertible, helping those in need and watching people.
He was predeceased by his parents, son Brent E. Gordon, sister's Andrea and Judy. Richard is survived by his son's Richard Gordon of Colorado, Josh Gordon of Farmingdale, daughter's Michelle McDougal of Hallowell, Naomi Lacascio of Sabattus, and Tegan Gordon of Richmond.
Per Richard's request there will not be any services held at this time.
