
Pittston-Norma "Tootie" M. Blodgett, 88, of the Nash Rd., passed away on July 20, 2026 at Glenridge Nursing Home, Augusta.
She was born in Dresden on March 24, 1938 the daughter of Vernon and Beatrice Merserve.
Tootie graduated from Bridge Academy, the class of 1955, soon after she married the love her life Clifton Blodgett.
Tootie was a master quilter, wining many blue and best of show ribbons. She knitted mittens and sweaters for all of her family, friends and any children she knew. She particularly loved spending time with her family. Tootie loved dogs and always had one by her side.
Tootie was predeceased by her husband Clifton S. Blodgett, her parents, younger brother Hildreth Hilly" Meserve, and infant great granddaughter Mabel Grace Blodgett.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Blodgett) Pettengill and husband Brody, son Jeff Blodgett and wife Brenda, grandchildren Travis Pettengill and wife Kathy, Trevor Pettengill and wife Kristal, Matthew Blodgett and wife Ivy, Christopher Blodgett, Kenneth Blodgett, great grandchildren Blake, Adriana, Presley and Brinley Pettengill, Keira, Cooper and Julia Blodgett. Also her half siblings Kermit, Sally, Janice, Lorraine and Stanley.
Per Tooties request there will not any funeral services held at this time.
