Bowdoinham-George M. Greeley, 67, died on September 7, 2026 at Mid Coast
Hospital, Brunswick.
He was born on December 2, 1958 in Burlington, Vermont the son of Robert
and Sarah C. Greeley.
George graduated from Brunswick High School, class of 1976. He later
went on to complete the apprenticeship program at Bath Iron Works, where
he retired after 40 years as a structural designer.
George enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was also a big Boston Bruins fan and the life of every family party!
He was predeceased by his father. George is survived by his wife of 43
years Jayne Greeley of Bowdoinham, son Sean Greeley of Topsham, daughter
Kimberly Greeley and her husband Alex of Lewiston, mother Sally Smith of
Brunswick,
sister Kate Greeley and husband Anthony of Topsham, sister Andrea Lebel
of Brunswick, and step mother Karen Reinert of Lisbon Falls.
