Frederick Nelson Wallace Jr
Alna-Frederick N. Wallace Jr., 61, of the Alna Rd. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.
He was born on November 14, 1944 in New Britain Connecticut the son of Frederick Sr. and Elfrieda Zerrull Wallace.
Fred married his beloved wife Donna in Connecticut on Jan. 1, 1964.
He was a true racing fan. At the age of 14 he started watching and participating, racing on tracks from Connecticut to Maine. He also enjoyed camping at Mt. Blue and his dog “noopy”.
Fred worked for O.W. Holmes of Newcastle, Phillip's Power Products of Damariscotta, Russell Griffin of Edgecomb, Dipietro-Kay of Bristol, N.C. Hunt of Nobleboro, Yudy’s Tire of Damariscotta and as a self employed auto technician for the last several years.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Charles Thaxton. Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Donna Wallace of Alna, daughter Alisa Wallace of Alna, sons Frederick Wallace and wife Kristin of Maryland, Dale Wallace and wife Kim of Damariscotta, David Wallace and wife Lisa of Nobleboro, grandson, but raised as a son Kysten Wallace of Alna, sisters Dorothy Wollman of Connecticut, Elfrieda Ballou of Florida, brother Robert Thaxton of Connecticut, Roy Thaxton of Connecticut, grandchildren Amanda, Michael and Jacob Wallace, Steven, Katie and Justin French, Erica Wallace, Tiffany Rae Pinkham, Nicole Marie Abbott, Kala Smith, Kacie Smith, John Cunningham, Kody Wallace, Kolt Wallace, great grandchildren Angel and Dakota Benner, and Emily Donohue.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, December 11, at the Alna/Newcastle Baptist Church, Alna at 1:00 pm.

Randolph-Percy J. Huntington, died Saturday December 17, 2005 at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta.
He was born May 25, 1921 in Litchfield, Maine, the son of John & Jenny(Jordan) Huntington the youngest of 13 children.
He attended Litchfield Schools and forever held Litchfield Fair as the best event of the year.
Percy was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Army, serving in the European Theater. He held much pride in serving his country. He was a lifetime member of Legion Post 132 of Richmond, Maine
He worked for the State of Maine Highway Dept. for over 30 years, retiring in 1976.
He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years Malonie (Moeller), who died in 1993.
He is survived by his three sons; Bruce Huntington & wife Pamela of Richmond, Maine,
John Huntington & wife Marilyn of Lakeworth, Florida, and Jay Huntington & wife Jennifer of Travers City, Michigan. Six Grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Helen Howard, of Richmond, Maine. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special friend, Dorothy Pierson of Randolph, Maine, and her family.
At his request there will be no visiting hours or service. Burial will be at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
